Power5 universities thrive on pipelines of Black athletic talent. Universities have the resources and influence to develop better pipelines of Black academic talent within their states. Revenue-producing recruits can leverage universities to do so by choosing schools based on how those schools are repaying (enrolling and graduating) the Black community.
